I find myself feeling crafty and possibly in a crafty store, like Hobby Lobby yesterday afternoon... I now understand how Jas can look and look and look around at Cabela's, Gander Mountain etc. without getting bored and I realized he would feel the same way I do at his favorite store as he would at mine. So I guess I need patience...because that is what I would want right...But anywho...I bought two GINORMOUS clothes pins (plus a bunch more goodies:))and got the crafty itch this evening and created this for my mama. I am going to see her at work tomorrow...do you think she'll like this little surprise? Would you?

Coupon Day!

I love love love coupons! My mother gives me the coupon book that comes with the Sunday paper and I get soooo EXCITED looking through it and clipping the ones I can use! Ohh so fun! Its like FREE money! The most I have saved recently was $14 and some odd cents not too bad and it was ALLL things that we needed: detergent, yogurt, bread, cheese, cereal, toilet paper, milk etc. How fun! Gosh I think about it and I feel pretty proud of myself! Anywho...how many others are like me and love love love coupons? Hooray for Coupon Day!

Well I better go get sorting these and making my shopping list. But before I go I have to share my coupon strategy with you all: (I got it out of a magazine so no I am not that clever) Take a large white envelope and put your list on the front of it if you have a coupon for the item put a C behind it with a circle around it and then place the coupon inside the envelope. Works pretty good.

Ewwwww...

I awoke this AM with a horrific aroma as I opened the door to the main floor....Trying to pretend I didn't smell it in hopes that Jason would find it first didn't exactly work. What a great start to a day without school....cleaning up an Ivan mess. Peeeewwww. I don't think I am cut out to be a mother because I gagged while cleaning his kennel and was a little grumpy while doing it. But the stench is gone and all I smell is pine-sol thank goodness and everything is all cleaned up.

THANKFUL Wednesday

I am THANKFUL for: In no special order
-my job
-my health
-my husband
-the Tatar tot hot dish in the oven
-That I have the right to VOTE!
-bright colored anything
-our 3 dogs
-our apple trees, pear trees and nectarine tree oh and raspberry bushes
-the trails my husband grooms through the grove
-my mother's thoughtfulness
-the early Christmas gift from my parents (a REALLY efficient heater....hopefully LP wont be as expensive for us this way??)
-the fact we are able to pay our bills
-having a car to get me to school safely
-my nieces happiness and joy she brings to me!

-my artsy craftsy ability :)
-a clean house
-my husbands hard work
-and the list could go on and on and on but I will save that for another day, we are going to eat soon :)
