Thursday the 30ths-30 Random Thoughts

1. This is me in the grove, picking ginormous red berries.
2. The dogs try to help.
3. I got so far in I didn't know if I could find my way out.
4. Some fell into my pocket of my bibs, now they are red...
5. I gave some away,
6. I froze some,
7. I ate some on my cereal.

8. I am making coffee with cinnamon sprinkled on top of the grounds.

9. I bought a new straw purse with a big ole flower for $6.

10. I haven't been feeling the best.

11. I stopped to see Lilah after work, she ran over and gave me a hug and MADE my day!

12. I love that little girl more than anything!

13. I tried to spray Jas with the sprayer on the sink...

14. It backfired on me...

15. We made homemade pizza, and I put left over sweet corn on it...

16. I have 2 loads of clothes to fold.

17. I am sewing a dress...

18. It rained last night.

19. I love listening to the rain gently hit the roof.

20. I accidentally locked one of the dogs in the garage and he ate the birds suet cakes...woops

21. We have lots of peppers and tomatoes in the garden.

22. My morning glories will be blooming soon.

23. My zinnias are blooming.

24. I rearranged the living room.

25. I think its cute how every time I do that Jas complains, but then gets used to it.

26. My mom bought me a new dress! Love it!

27. I wear skirts/dresses most of the time!

28. I really should paint my toe nails.

29. My grandpa's 85th birthday is on Sunday!

30. Life is good, and God is great!

Monday Monday...

Reflections of all the goodness God created:



-Apricots, freshly picked from our tree.
-Sermon on marriage, so sweet and so true.
-Garden produce to fill our tummies.
-Newly brightly colored blooming zinnias.
-Rest for my hard working, not many days off husband.
-Chickpeas soaked overnight, turning them into a nibble with fresh herbs, in bounty in our sill.
-Good friends, some that are having a baby :)
-Happiness.
-A wonderful content, can't get any better than this kinda life!
-God is GOOD!

Green is my favorite color...

Ahhhhhh....I just want to stare at my recycled project....and my cutesy homemade patio and furnishings....Even if it was so cold I had to wear a sweatshirt and vest to keep me warm this A.M. I still bared the cold to enjoy my chairs with new paint jobs and hot coffee, oh and 2 (they were small) special K bars my mom made for us.

You bring your coffee and goodies out on a fancy shmancy tray, the one you created with bits and pieces of scrap paper and then come to find out later the vase of flowers you had sitting on there that were ready to take to the fair today blew over and soaked the master piece under the glass...well its drying now, and only a few tears were shed...

What do you do?

When you have to take a summer class and your lab exam stressed you out???

Your mom surprises you with a sweet recycled bag she found at a little market and thought it looked just like you...aww what a DAY MAKER she is!

And what do you do when you have your last Anatomy & Physiology Exam on Monday but you are invited to a camp out on Saturday?

You study the whole way there, stop for an iced coffee, laugh when your husband downs his and announces "Oh I am going to be a handful" (because coffee just has that effect on him.) Then you get to the camp out and take a study break. You laugh a lot, do some dancing, watch your husband do cartwheels,(oh and he says he rocked the cartwheels, which he did) play bean bags, have a delicious supper that you didn't help with, (Thanks JEN!!!) you laugh more about the styles of the past years, and laugh so hard you can hardly breathe...you know....then you almost fall out of your chair laughing about wind suit, ginco jeans, silk shirts, starter jackets and of course PINNING your jeans!

Aren't these guys HOT???

Then what do you do when you are FINALLY finished with your 5 week intense summer class?

You get home and start weeding everything around your house that you have been waiting all summer to do but didn't have the time. And then you just look at it and look at it and look at it out the window, you know how it is...Oh and then when you find out your grade at 10P.M. you freak out to your husband who is sleeping...

And what do you do on your first actual day of summer?

You take the A.M. off and watch some T.V. (something that I rarely do) and you drink lots of coffee, read a magazine, have the windows open because there is such a nice breeze coming in and then you FREAK out because.......a house wren got through the whole Ivan put in the screen...Then you are sweating so bad because your Sympathetic system kicks in and you can't get the screen off the window (b/c they don't come off). This is when you call your brother in law...and he comes over and catches him for you and releases him outside and makes your day all better! Thanks LON!

Oh and then you work in your garden and pick purple beans and take pictures of your zinnias that are finally blooming....ahhhhhh SUMMER!
