Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree....

This is the 3rd year we have been married but the 5th year we have put up a tree....Let me give you some background on our Tree experiences....

Year 1: Newly in love, all romantic, decorating this small tree together with blue lights etc. Jason bought me an ornament and so forth...ohhh how sweet, we even had to get in the truck and drive down the road so we could drive up the driveway and see it....(sigh)
Year 2: I wanted to set up the Tree my mother had given me BEFORE Thanksgiving (something Jason DOESN'T agree with) Still newly in love with each other I had Jason wanting to do anything I wanted to do and I had tickets to see a play at Riverland...I don't even remember what it was maybe Hello Dolly or something like that. He of course didn't want to go but I really really did, so I made a deal with him...If we don't go then I get to set up the tree tonight (Which was BEFORE Thanksgiving). And of course Jason went with that so he didn't have to sit through another play...
Year 3: Just newly married, still doing the fake tree thing...I set up 3 different trees this year...and didn't take the big one down until like ummmmm April...ha ha ha I thought it was pretty and maybe I was lazy I don't know.
Year 4: We had good intentions to get a real tree but it didn't happen therefore I ended up setting up our small tree and decorated it with red everything, very cute, very easy...And I did it myself...do you see where this is going (ha ha. Love you Jas!)

Year 5:

The LOVELY tree we agreed on...

Mr. I LOVE Christmas cutting down the tree...

Having a good time at the tree farm...

The tree all loaded up and shook off...(notice my silhouette on the back window there...)

Stopping to show the in-laws on the way home...(this was after I told Jas the HOT apple cider they gave me when i paid wasn't hot and he burned off his taste buds. woops)

Ivan trying to figure out what this is doing in the house...Setting this tree up wasn't the easiest let me tell you...and Jason wasn't the happiest with me when I couldn't hold the tree straight...
And my friend Heather helping me decorate the house for Christmas, but not the tree because we need more lights because the tree is a little "Fuller" then we expected...And all the stockings are hung...

You better get a picture of that terracotta angel up. He's my favorite! Haha. I had such a good time helping you decorate. I can't wait to come visit over Christmas vacation! :) Love ya, buddy.
