Thursday: We went out for breakfast with Roger and Rosa and saw the Diamond Valley Dam that took 5 years to build working 24hrs a day.
Friday: We got to Harold & Shirley's and Shirley was mixing up Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies so I helped her and we had coffee and cookies for a little snack. We thought we would drive around San Clemente for awhile and then get a sandwich.
As we were driving around Bruce and Joyce were outside and they invited us in for pie and coffee! Could we have been at any better place at any better time???
After we left we drove down to the ocean. Dad and I felt the cool water and look at the people surfing and sitting on the beach.
Then we went over to Dayna Point. This place was gorgeous! Dad and Harold had a good time visiting and catching up!
Then we went to Carl Jr.'s and we each had a sandwich...mmm good.
